Happy Australia Day

Happy Australia Day to Melanie and all the Australian Care Bears who love Carrie and have given her the best supports. 229 years ago, the First Fleet led by Admiral Arthur Phillip RN arrived in Sydney and marked the beginning of a future nation – Australia. Nowadays this anniversary is time to honour the country and the whole nation as well as its unity and freedom.

Advance Australia Fair, the national anthem

Waltzing Matilda, the unofficial anthem

Meanwhile, this is also time to vote for our beloved Carrie for the Country Music Channel music awards. As all of us have known, Carrie is nominated for 2 international awards. The voting closes on March 5th, 2017. And we can vote here

Vote for Carrie for International Artist of the Year https://cmcmusicawards.foxtel.com.au/category/7

“Dirty Laundry” officially became a #1 single on Mediabase on January 15th – Carrie’s 25th single. She succeeded Keith Urban as we had wished. Thank you for all the requests. This was still a success though we could only peak at #2 on Billboard Country Airplay.

And now we are looking forward to the 59th Annual Grammy Awards that will be held on February 12. It’s so lovely that Carrie’s “Church Bells” has been nominated for Best Country Solo Performance, and it’s much more exciting that Carrie will also be a performer at these awards. Can’t wait.

Tomorrow night is the New Year’s Eve of the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese traditional calendar. This is the Year of the Fire Rooster. Australia has been a very active nation in the formation of a new geopolitical concept – the Asia-Pacific. And now the country is home to a lot of Australians of Chinese, Vietnamese, Koreans, Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Macanese, and Singaporean descents. Happy Rooster Year to the whole Australia, one of the best and most influential countries in the Asia-Pacific.

Request to make Dirty Laundry #1 this Sunday

“Dirty Laundry” reaches #1 on Mediabase and passes Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color” this Thursday morning (Wednesday night in AEDT)

There are 3 days left before Carrie’s single is confirmed as #1

Our wish is coming true. Let’s keep requesting “Dirty Laundry” http://www.carriefans.com/forums/carrie-underwood-voting-threads/156550-mediabase-country-station-request-thread.html

Congrats! Dirty Laundry is #2 now

What great news! “Dirty Laundry” just reached #2 on the Mediabase Country chart for the first time. It’s more special to notice that the 4th Storyteller single didn’t move up a spot as usual, but 2 spots instead. Historically, it moved from #4 to #3 on December 20th, then was forced to drop back to #4 by Tim McGraw’s “How I’ll Always Be” on December 23rd, and today passed both Brett Eldredge’s “Wanna Be That Song” and of course Tim McGraw.

Congratulations, Carrie! We can’t wait for “Dirty Laundry” to climb to #1 around the beginning of 2017. Our queen’s single completed the journey to #1 on Canadian Mediabase on December 18th, and now it’s time to fulfill our greater wish, so keep requesting as much as possible.

Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color”officially became #1 on Mediabase last Sunday, and it would be so lovely and perfect “Dirty Laundry” could succeed his single as the next reigning single.

Wishing all of you a wonderful, amazing, and joyous time. Best wishes to Melanie and her hubby. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

What a wonderful weekend Carrie is having!

Carrie and Keith’s Tour has just finished in Brisbane, QLD. We are so happy that the tour is very successful, and now it’s a lovely year-end for Carrie.

Yesterday Carrie was announced that she won 2 Rare Country awards for Tour of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. How incredible! Blake Shelton won Male Artist of the Year and there were some more minor awards. Carrie was undoubtedly the most successful winner at this award though she couldn’t go back from Brisbane to receive them.

And yesterday we also welcomed much greater news that “Dirty Laundry” moved up to #1 on the Australian Country Airplay that. How awesome! This may be a big surprise to us. Remember that Carrie’s “Dirty Laundry” was still at #5 last week. Perhaps the ripCORD World Tour has spread Carrie’s single throughout the stations and inspired the audience.

But it is not everything. The latest news is that “Dirty Laundry” has just passed Florida Georgia Line’s “May We All” to move to #4 on the Mediabase. We waited this for over a week and now can’t be happier. Hopefully this will also lead to the rise of “Dirty Laundry” on the Billboard charts.

A little thing to tell you before ending this post is that our Melanie had a chance to met Carrie and took a photo with her at the tour.

Hooray! Dirty Laundry entered the Mediabase top 5

As expected, “Dirty Laundry” passed Tim McGraw’s “How I’ll Always Be” on Mediabase yesterday and hit the top 5 for the first time. Congratulations! Way to go.

Carrie will finish this week at #5. Interestingly, the single above “Dirty Laundry” right now  is Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color”.

At the moment, Carrie is performing at the GIO stadium in Canberra, ACT.

Congratulations! Dirty Laundry is #6 on Mediabase

“Dirty Laundry” passes Brett Young’s “Sleep Without You” to move to No. 6 on Mediabase this morning (Pacific Time) or tonight (AEDT). Carrie is very close to Tim McGraw’s #5 as well. Congratulations!

Carrie and Keith’s Tour stops in Melbourne, Vic tomorrow night. Get ready and have fun

Congratulations on Dirty Laundry’s #7

This week saw the rise of “Dirty Laundry” on the major charts. The 5th Storyteller single passed Jason Aldean to hit #7 on Mediabase on Sunday, and the latest Billboard update announced that “Dirty Laundry” also moved up 3 spots to #7 on both Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs.

There is also a little happy news on Twitter that Carrie’s number of followers has passed 6M. Excluding multi-genre singers like Taylor Swift or Kelly Clarkson, it’s true that Carrie is the 4th most followed country singer after Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and Blake’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert.

At the moment Carrie is performing her first ripCORD World Tour show in Adelaide. That’s so festive and joyous, and everyone is looking toward Australia.

Carrie and Keith’s ripCORD World Tour started

As expected, Carrie and Keith’s headlining tour to Australia and New Zealand has just started in Wellington, the capital of the Aotearoa nation. For Carrie, this is the first time she has headlined to a Kiwi city, but the second time to the little continent of Australia, and don’t forget, this is also her first time to the piping shrike state.

At the beginning of December, we got little good news that Dirty Laundry climbed to No. 8 on Mediabase. And hopefully this would make Carrie very enthusiastic before this tour.

The period from November to March is when the difference between the time zones in the USA and those in Australia and NZ is the greatest. That’s why Carrie’s clock in Australasia is 16-19 hours ahead of her clock in Nashville, TN.

The Melbourne-origin rock band Buchanan play the role as opening act.

When Carrie headlined her Blown Away Tour to Australia 4 years ago, it was wintertime; however, now she is enjoying a lovely Southern Hemisphere summertime.

And this is the full schedule

December 3 Wellington Westpac Stadium AEDT+02:00

December 6 Adelaide, SA Adelaide Entertainment Centre AEDT-00:30

December 8 Melbourne, Vic Rod Laver Arena AEDT

December 9 Melbourne, Vic Rod Laver Arena AEDT

December 10 Canberra, ACT GIO Stadium AEDT

December 12 Sydney, NSW Qudos Bank Arena AEDT

December 14 Sydney, NSW ICC Sydney AEDT

December 16 Brisbane, QLD Brisbane Entertainment Centre AEDT-01:00

December 17 Brisbane, QLD Brisbane Entertainment Centre AEDT-01:00

Melanie is going to see Carrie, Keith, and Buchanan in Adelaide and Melbourne. And undoubtedly she will have a lot of fun with beautiful photos and incredible videos. Remember that there are still 2 Aussie states which Carrie has not discovered yet, the insular state of Tasmania and the black swan state of Western Australia; the latter is Mel’s sweet home.

Wishing all of you a wonderful time at these shows

Dirty Laundry in the Mediabase and Billboard top 10

In the week when most Care Bears were power-voting for Carrie for the AMAs, the 5th Storyteller single completely entered all the main Mediabase and Billboard charts’ top 10. On Mediabase Country, “Dirty Laundry” had passed Kenny Chesney’s “Setting the World on Fire” to hit the top 10 on November 17, before it continued to pass Luke Bryan’s “Move” last Wednesday. And on Billboard, after Carrie had won 2 AMAs for country music, Dirty Laundry also reached the top 10 of Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs for the first time. The Hot Country Songs chart is where Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color” has been at the top for 3 weeks.

Now when The Storyteller Tour is nearly ending, the positive updates from both Carrie and Keith’s singles will make the upcoming Ripcord World Tour shows in Australasia more exciting.
